How did you meet and how long have you been together?
Aaron and I met at a bar of all places on September 7, 2013. Now the rest is history!
What were your highlights of the day? Were there any surprises?
I’d have to say the first look with Aaron and my dad was a highlight of the day! It was so special to have that moment with my father and soon to be husband.
What advice would you give to other couples planning their day?
Don’t sweat the small stuff and go with the flow, just enjoy what you planned and planned for. (:
Ceremony + Reception Location | What made you decide to get married there?
Our ceremony was at Il Mercato in New Orleans. We liked that it was the same place as the reception and the courtyard is absolutely breath taking. Our reception was also at Il Mercato. We pretty much had our mind set on a venue in Maui (we placed a soft hold and everything) but we decided to look at Il Mercato and as soon as we walked through the doors we knew it was our place! We really wanted a large open space with a clean look and that’s exactly what it was.
